About the reform happening in the public sector

The French public sector represents c.5 million people, accounting for 1 in 5 workers in France.

Following a 2019 public sector reform law, a significant change in complementary health insurance for civil servants was introduced. By 2026, public employers across all sectors will be required to contribute at least 50% to their employees’ health insurance premiums. This reform aims to align the public sector with private-sector health insurance practices, enhancing coverage and reducing out-of-pocket costs for civil servants.

This presents a unique opportunity for Alan to provide innovative, delightful health insurance solutions to millions of civil servants.
