Our Mission Is To Functionally Drive And Steer Digital Quality And Digital Security Across The Entire IT Delivery Organizations Of The Volvo Group, Based On Four Pillars
Responsibilities
As Director (Head of) Security and Information Management, reporting directly to the Vice President of Digital Quality and Operations, you will be responsible for driving four main domains:
Your Scope: Volvo Group Level and its partners.
Your Team: This organization consists of 26 people spread across 7 countries, including three line managers and one direct report. You will need to develop their career paths and roles as well as your organization.
Wanted Profile
For this position, we are looking for a person with strong and inspiring leadership skills. You have proven experience as a leader, a good understanding and knowledge of digital security (IT, OT, and IoT), and managing software development teams following the DevSecOps methodology. You are motivated by developing leaders in this area. You have a personal drive for continuous improvement to enhance delivery efficiency and measure progress.
You have a strong ability to network and set direction and objectives, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy. You share core values according to the Volvo Way. You have the ability to manage diversity, work in cross-functional teams, and build trust within the organization. You actively collaborate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multicultural environment. You are comfortable driving change and have the courage to make decisions. You also need to have a structured approach to tackling challenges and handling various issues.

- Development of security-related applications.
- Visual management and reporting.

Activities
- Develop Security and Information Management in the Volvo Group environment (and associated partners if required).
- As the leader of the infrastructure first line of defense, you will develop a strong relationship with our second line of defense.
- Develop the four domains under your responsibility and ensure value creation from these domains towards the Volvo Group.
- Create a strong partnership with Vice Presidents (Heads) responsible for local IT delivery teams.
- Drive the infrastructure vulnerability management journey horizontally across the Volvo Group.
- Be the Digital Quality and Ops representative in performance forums involving senior Vice Presidents and delivery units.
- Broad cybersecurity, vulnerability management, business continuity plan management, and application development background, as well as demonstrated experience in driving operational improvement and execution.
- Strong leadership with a proactive mindset.
- Interest in driving new ways of working, improving IT processes, and developing people.
- Demonstrated strong leadership competencies in leading cross-functional teams in a global context and managing good relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for driving global teams in joint activities, developing, and coaching people.
- Team player and committed to getting the job done.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a leading leaders position.
- Relevant university degree.
- Complete proficiency in English is required.
