We are looking for our new associate as R&D Engineer specializing in nonwoven materials. If you are passionate about innovation and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this position could be for you!

R&D Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• You lead and execute product development projects following a stage gate process in close cooperation with sales & production teams as well as customers.
• You will scout for new opportunities & generate ideas and solutions to fulfil customer or market needs.
• You will develop and improve products with trials on industrial production lines, in pilot plants and with external finishing processes.
• You will define specifications and production parameters together with process engineering, production, quality and sales teams.
• You will select and test new raw materials, also in consideration of product safety, environmental aspects and regulations.
• Youwill write new patents, monitor patent infringement, analyze competitor products and patents, etc.
  
  

Qualifications

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in textiles, polymers, materials science or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred
• You have initial experience in nonwovens, textile chemistry or engineering, and a good knowledge in polymers, melt spinning, spunlaid technology and product development.
• You enjoy project management; you excel at managing time and can you handle multiple tasks effectively.
• You possess entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently in a fast paced & dynamic environment.
• You are a team player and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• You have excellent communication skills in both French and English. German is a plus.
